All things botanical by artist Erin Daniels.

The materials are not the subject of the artist.
The subject of the artist is emotions and ideas...both
— Louise Bourgeois

My artwork - no matter the medium - serves as a narrative thread, intertwining heritage, lineage, and the continuous cycles of growth and renewal, captured in the essence of nature. I aim to portray the interconnectedness and continuity of all things, the concept that some things are so deeply entwined—like seed and fruit—they cannot be severed.

In 2024 I am excited about the following opportunities to showcase the many aspects of my creative practice.

“Garden of the Soul 4” botanical collage will be featured in Breaker Magazine

“Healing Sutras” contemporary embroidery will be featured in Issue 6 “Healing” of Amphibian Art and Literary Journal

Botanical Watercolors will be for sale at the 51st Annual Historic Yellow Springs Art Show from April 27 - May 12

“Garden of the Soul” will be on view at the Moore College of Art Alumni Gallery from November 23 - January 18

“Cause and effect, means and ends, seed and fruit, cannot be severed; for the effect already blooms in the cause, the end preexists in the means, the fruit in the seed.” ~Ralph Waldo Emerson
